Raymond James welcomes San Diego financial advisor managing $130 million in client assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Taimur "Tam" Baig to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm's employee advisor channel – in San Diego, California, according to John Simmons, California regional director for RJA.

Baig arrives from Morgan Stanley, where he managed approximately $130 million in client assets. He leads Be Wealth Efficient of Raymond James and specializes in creating customized financial plans for clients, with a focus on technology and biotechnology professionals.

"I wanted to align with a full-service wealth management firm with the right mix of resources and dedication to clients. Baig began his financial services career in 2009 as an advisor at Merrill Lynch. He later spent five years at Wells Fargo and seven years at Morgan Stanley. Baig is an armed services veteran, previously serving in the Marine Corps and as an Air Force intelligence officer. He earned his bachelor's degree from Hawaii Pacific University and a Master's in International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
